Terms of Service

• You confirm you are at least 18 years old or otherwise legally authorized to contract and attend events.
• Use of the platform must follow applicable laws, event rules, organizer policies, and these Terms.
• Some features may evolve; relevant changes may be communicated by email, notification, or update to this page.

• Use truthful information and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity through your account, including linked professional profiles.
• We may apply antifraud checks to registrations, purchases, publications, invitations, and payouts.
• Login through Google, Apple, or other providers is also subject to those services' rules.

WeDance allows public DJ, teacher, and organizer profiles to support discovery, promotion, and event connections.

• Profiles may show name, photo, bio, location, rhythms, social links, classes, events, music, sets, and professional information added by the user.
• Users may follow or favorite events, DJs, teachers, and organizers; these interactions may be used for recommendations and notifications.
• Artist and organizer profiles may appear in search, public pages, cards, shares, and event pages when linked.
• WeDance may hide, restrict, or remove profiles that violate third-party rights, community rules, or applicable laws.

• Organizers may invite DJs and teachers to work at events, classes, congresses, socials, workshops, or other activities.
• Professionals may accept, reject, or allow a new invitation according to the options available on the platform.
• Pending or rejected invitations do not make the professional publicly confirmed for the event.
• WeDance is a connection platform and is not the employer, agent, representative, or contracting party of professionals or organizers.
• Any compensation, attendance obligation, artistic agreement, transport, lodging, or work condition must be agreed directly between organizer and professional unless a specific contract says otherwise.

• Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of name, dates, times, venue, capacity, schedule, attractions, policies, prices, and availability.
• Schedules, tracks, rooms, classes, levels, and activities must be kept updated to avoid misleading the public.
• Closed, canceled, or ended events may have restricted access, especially when there are buyers, financial history, or support obligations.
• Free publishing does not remove service, payment-processing, or payout fees shown before checkout.

• You retain ownership of what you publish but grant WeDance a non-exclusive license to display, host, technically adapt, and promote that content on and off the platform.
• Anyone publishing an event or profile declares they have authorization to use names, images, photos, brands, logos, music, descriptions, social links, and other submitted content.
• When a linked professional updates their own photo or public data, events using the profile photo may reflect that update; custom images added by an organizer remain independent.
• You may not publish content that violates copyrights, image rights, trademarks, privacy, laws, or community rules.

Purchases on WeDance may involve WeDance fees, payment-provider fees, taxes, currency conversion, chargebacks, and payout timing.

• WeDance acts as a marketplace and technology payment facilitator and is not usually the organizer of listed events.
• Payments may be processed by Stripe, Mercado Pago, or other providers available by country, currency, organizer, and account type.
• Mercado Pago may be limited to countries, currencies, and methods supported by the provider, such as BRL in the Brazilian context; Stripe may allow additional currencies and countries when the connected account is eligible.
• Organizers may need to complete onboarding, KYC, tax data, and provider checks before selling or receiving payouts.
• WeDance fees, provider fees, release timing, holds, reserves, refunds, and chargebacks may vary by payment method, currency, country, and risk review.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method when possible and may depend on the organizer, provider, and applicable law.
• If the organizer does not comply with refund obligations, WeDance may retain, offset, or block available amounts when permitted.

• If an event is canceled, postponed, or not held, the organizer is responsible for communicating with attendees and fulfilling legal refund obligations.
• WeDance may assist operationally with refunds but does not assume the financial obligation for third-party events.
• Vouchers, credits, or rescheduling should only be offered when permitted by law and accepted by the attendee.
• Rights granted by consumer protection laws remain applicable.

• DJs may connect Spotify and SoundCloud to display music, playlists, tracks, sets, images, and public links related to their work.
• By connecting an external service, you authorize WeDance to access and display the data permitted by that service, according to the scopes and permissions accepted during login.
• Spotify, SoundCloud, Stripe, Mercado Pago, Google, Apple, and other third parties have their own terms, policies, and limitations.
• You may disconnect integrations when available; some technical data may be retained for security, audit, or legal obligations.

• We may send notifications about tickets, purchases, event changes, work invitations, professional responses, new events from followed organizers, and confirmations of followed artists.
• Notification markers may remain visible until the relevant action is completed, such as viewing or responding to a pending invitation.
• Search results may include events, artists, and organizers using name, location, rhythms, categories, public status, and relevance.
• You can manage notification permissions in your browser or device when applicable.

• Do not use the platform for spam, harassment, fraud, improper scraping, discrimination, illegal content, or attempts to bypass security systems.
• Do not publish fake events, misleading information, incorrect prices, fake profiles, or unauthorized invitations.
• Reports may lead to content removal, account suspension, sale cancellation, or communication with authorities when necessary.

• You may request account deletion; personal data and professional profiles will be removed according to available functionality and applicable law.
• Events with sales, attendees, receipts, disputes, refunds, or tax obligations may be preserved for history, support, audit, and legal compliance.
• Even after deletion or closure, pending payment, refund, chargeback, fraud, or security obligations remain valid.
• We may suspend accounts for violation of these Terms, fraud risk, legal requirement, or harm to the community.

• Services are provided as is and as available; interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or external factors.
• WeDance does not guarantee attendance, sales, visibility, hiring, artistic, financial, or professional results.
• WeDance is responsible only for technical failures directly attributable to the platform, within legal limits.
• To the extent permitted by applicable law, WeDance's liability is limited to amounts paid to the platform in the 12 months before the triggering event.
