We only ask for what’s necessary to operate the platform securely.

  • Account data: name, email, language, location preferences, and optional profile info.
  • Usage data: searches, viewed events, interactions, and device technical data (browser, IP, OS).
  • Approximate location to suggest relevant events; you can disable permissions anytime.
  • Payments are processed by partners; we do not store full card data.
  • Documents and proofs: CPF/tax ID, phone, address, payment receipts, or identity documents may be requested when organizers or legal requirements demand them.
  • Operate WeDance, personalize recommendations, and show nearby events.
  • Communicate about purchases, tickets, event updates, and account security.
  • Prevent fraud, keep the platform safe, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve products through aggregated metrics and usability testing.
  • Processing of personal data is based on contract performance, legal obligations, WeDance’s legitimate interest, and, where applicable, user consent, in line with applicable law.
  • Essential cookies keep login and core features working.
  • Performance/analytics cookies help us understand usage; where possible, we offer opt-out.

  • Event organizers receive data needed to process registrations, purchases, and essential communication.

  • When an organizer requests a payout or confirms responsibility for the event, we share purchase details with that partner and guide the interaction via wedanceapp.br@gmail.com.
  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls help protect your information.
  • We retain data for as long as needed to meet legal duties, prevent fraud, and operate services.
  • If a relevant incident occurs, we will notify affected users as required by law.
  • You can access and update basic data in your profile at any time.
  • Request deletion, portability, or correction of data by contacting support; some data may be retained to comply with legal/regulatory duties or prevent fraud.
  • Manage marketing/communication preferences via email or available settings.
  • WeDance is for 18+ or minors legally authorized to join events.
  • If we detect use without proper consent, we may close the account and remove data as required by law.
  • Data may be processed by providers outside your country; we follow equivalent protection standards when applicable.
  • We apply contractual clauses or safeguards when required by local regulations.
